Congolese (DRC) film director and producer.
Gilbert BALUFU is a filmmaker from DR Congo. In 1992 he founded with his brother (elder) Balufu Bakupa-Kanyinda an Audio-visual and Communication Company. He made in 2015 his debut documentary "Congo! Le Silence des Crimes Oubliés", which was extensively debated. The film was short-listed by two festivals and also showed at other festivals in Africa, Europe, USA and Canada.
