Founded in 1997.
Formerly known as Tju-Bang Film. SF Film Production is the Danish production unit of Svensk Filmindustri AB. The goal of the company is to produce films of high artistic value that have potential on different platforms.
Output: 2-4 fiction features (the main driver of the company), 2-4 documentaries and short films per year, besides involvement in international co-productions, TV-series, and the short format for the internet. Although the company's main driver is the feature film, they see fiction and documentary as being interdependent in developing the creative environment for a successful repertoire.

The company has signed acclaimed titles such as"Omveje til frihed"/"Detour to freedom"(Sidse Stausholm, Mikala Krogh, 2001),"Min morfars morder - En film om tilgivelse"/"My Grandad's Murderer"(Søren Fauli, Mikala Krogh, 2004), winner in Paris and Sevilla, and"The Monastery"(Pernille Rose Grønkjær, 2006), recipient of more than a dozen awards, among these the Joris Ivens Award at IDFA, Amsterdam. Also selected for IDFA was Phie Ambo's"Mechanical Love"(2007). The company signs its two first feature films with"Spillets regler"/"Moving Up"(Christian Dyekjær, 2008) and"Gaven"/"The Gift"(Niels Gråbøl, 2008). 2009-2010:"Lost in Africa"(Vibeke Muasya).
