His name is Doctor: a nickname given to him by his fellow citizens of the home of Montreuil-sous-Bois (France), also called Montreuil-sous-Bamako. Married without children, he decides during his holidays in Africa to marry a second time and marries Kada, a young Ivorian whom he wants to bring to France. But the French embassy refuses the residence visa for the second wife. Doctor circumvents the difficulty by passing her off as his daughter. When Kada becomes pregnant with this "father", French justice gets involved...
