BOXING GIRL is a coming-of-age tale about a bored 17-year-old hairdresser who finds red boxing gloves after getting hit by a motorbike in Dakar. As soon as she puts them on, she gets mysteriously carried all over the city.

Right after being hit by a motorbike, seventeen-year-old hairdresser Adama finds a pair of red boxing gloves. Once she puts them on, she gets mysteriously carried away on a journey all over the city.

We are a few days away from Tabaski (Eid). Adama, aged 17, is a customer customer braid in her aunt's hairdressing salon. Taking advantage of a race to escape, she wanders in the neighborhood when a chauffeur running at full speed lacks the reverse. The boxing gloves fallen from the bike will train her in a crazy race.
