Waheeda Malullah, born in 1978 in Bahrain, studied at the University of Bahrain, where she works since 2003. As a graphic artist and videographer, she organizes and participates in numerous workshops. She is a member of the Bahrain Contemporary Art Association and exhibits at the Al Riwaq gallery.

His visual work has been presented in group exhibitions in 2009 at Art Dubai, the Sharjah Biennial, the Delfina Foundation of London, the 11th International Cairo Biennale, and in 2008 at the International Festival of video arts in Ben M'Sik, Casablanca and also in the The Town House gallery in Cairo, Alkatraz Gallery in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Ifa Gallery in Stuttgart and Berlin. She has participated in the exhibitions Identity in the Process of Change at Danish Center for Culture and Develop, and Video Art: Play in Copenhagen, Video Land in Berlin, and Within the Region, a touring program of contemporarily art video from the Arabic region organized by Medrar for Contemporary Arts. She has made nearly a dozen videos since 2005 and his work has received numerous awards in the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt.

Seit 2005 hat sie rund zwölf Videos verwirklicht und mehrere Preise in Bahrein und Ägypten erworben.
