Dandara de Morais is an actress, dancer and filmmaker from Recife, Brazil. She started her film career as an actress in the feature film "August Winds" and had leading roles in several Brazilian productions. She found herself a storyteller and began to write, act and direct her own films. Her work explores the relationship of black women to the world.
