Mehdi, who hardly sells his newspapers at the market, agreed to help young unemployed people, as he wants to create his own renovation company. While on the construction site, he meets Nadia, a young quiet and lonely girl. This short film, where scenes in which recklessness and youth are predominant are finely blended with harder scenes in which Mehdi's despair is shown, portrays with modesty and sensibility the feeling of failure felt by a man who devoted his whole life to others. One of the scenes shows Mehdi accompanied by two friends, interpreted by Francis Lemarque and Allain Leprest, who sing "Marjolaine" for him.
