Montassar is a 12 years old boy. He spends his summer holidays with his family members in his village Sidi Bouzekri in north Tunisia. Through the eyes of this child, his various tasks within his family, we get into his world made of labour, laughter, deprivation, expection and dreams. Montassar holidays tell us how a child learns to get older in a life that tastes sweet bitter and seems wrongly simple and easy.
