As the former capital of French West Africa, Saint-Louis still displays traces of a period in History common to several African countries: French colonization. In 2011, six young African filmmakers question the still prevailing colonial traces in Saint-Louis. The film meets up with Christian Valentin, President Senghor's former principal private secretary who witnessed colonization.
