This year Cinémaf, the African Filmfestival of Antwerp, takes place for the third time. It gives the public the choice between more than thirty African movies and documentary films. Above all Cinémaf 2006 wants to create a space to meet and to exchange. Therefore it does not limit itself to the screening of movies. There are also an African market and African concerts on the opening day, debates, poetry nights, … Boulevard Amandla, the literary-visual part of Cinémaf, offers this year an exploratory exhibition on Bertolt Brecht and Wole Soyinka and an exporoute of African and Belgian artists in the neighbourhood of the De Coninckplein.
