Orquésta Chungu are touring through Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia from 10th of May to 15th of June. The five core musicians of the group are part of a music education workshop tour of the four East African countries.

The tour is taking place within the framework of the East African Global Music Campus teacher training program which has the overall objective of preserving, developing and promoting African music and African music education in the region.

From May 24th to May 29th the workshop is conducted in collaboration with Action Music Tanzania & Music Mayday in Dar es Salaam. On Friday, May 29 the outcomes of the workshop will be presented at the Goethe-Institut.
